Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Immokalee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy programs, using evidence-based practices to enhance patient recovery and optimize functional abilities.
• Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
• Engage in patient education, providing information to both patients and their families regarding therapy goals and home exercise programs.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote physical health and awareness.
• Oversee and mentor assigned support staff, empowering them to contribute effectively to patient care.
• Attend regular team meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities to stay updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult and geriatric patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will also work with patients managing neurological conditions, ensuring the development of holistic and functional rehabilitation strategies tailored to their individual needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, candidates with experience in rehabilitation facilities or who have worked with diverse patient populations will be given preference. Familiarity with adaptive physical therapy techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
