Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Emergency Department Holding position caring for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Night shift schedule with consistent 4:1 patient ratios across all shifts
• 32-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Exposure to trauma levels I and II, LTAC, and community hospital settings preferred

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in ER, ER Holding, or Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Demonstrated experience with accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, cardiac telemetry, care of ventilated patients, chest tubes, and PCU/stepdown care
• Strong skills in IV management, cardiac monitoring, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
