Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally-sensitive assessments for individual clients, couples, and family groupings, identifying their unique needs.

• Create and implement individualized therapy plans that empower clients to build effective coping mechanisms and resilience against mental health challenges.

• Formulate and execute crisis management and wellness strategies, which may include developing safety and relapse prevention plans tailored to the needs of each client.

• Document client progress thoroughly while remaining compliant with ethical guidelines and best practices in mental health care.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations to foster collaborative problem-solving and continuous improvement of therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse population that may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will engage with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring interventions to accommodate their unique cultural and lifestyle contexts. Your expertise will guide clients toward sustainable recovery and promoting their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active Virginia state license as either an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• A demonstrated ability to understand and address the complex needs of a diverse clientele, with a focus on building rapport and trust.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills conducive to establishing positive therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, preferably with experience in community health.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
