Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical assessment and formulate individualized treatment plans for clients presenting with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disturbances.

• Carry an active caseload, performing individual, group, and family therapy sessions based on client needs and treatment goals.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and arrange for more comprehensive assessments as necessary, helping to identify appropriate interventions.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to produce integrated care plans, ensuring that clients receive access to necessary support services.
\n
• Actively participate in crisis intervention efforts, employing appropriate methods to ensure the safety and well-being of clients during critical times.

• Monitor client progress and maintain regular communication with clients, their families, and other health professionals involved in care.
\n
• Document clinical interactions in a clear and timely manner to uphold compliance with regulatory body standards and ensure continuity of care.

• Contribute to agency quality improvement initiatives by participating in committees focused on service delivery enhancements and performance metrics.

• Fulfill on-call responsibilities during and after program hours as assigned, ensuring that client needs are met around the clock.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW in this position will work primarily with clients from varied backgrounds experiencing significant mental health challenges. These may include, but are not limited to, individuals dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, and other severe emotional disorders within a hospice care context. We prioritize culturally competent care, allowing therapists to employ diverse therapeutic approaches tailored to individual client needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Must possess and maintain a current LCSW license to practice in the state of Kansas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
