In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or office while traveling to clients' homes as necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions and group therapy in-home or virtually, focusing on effective treatment strategies tailored to each family.

• Implement specialized interventions targeting anger management, coping mechanisms, and social skills to mitigate high-risk behaviors including self-injurious actions and physical aggression.
\n
• Facilitate family workshops to empower caregivers, providing them with tools and techniques to enhance their decision-making skills regarding their child’s behavioral management.
\n
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other allied health professionals to deliver cohesive, multidimensional support for the child and family unit.
\n
• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements by accurately completing intake evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share innovative treatment ideas, and foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our services is on children aged 3 to 20 years who are experiencing developmental challenges and intellectual disabilities. As a therapist, you will engage with a diverse clientele, supporting their unique needs through personalized therapeutic approaches that promote resilience, self-esteem, and behavioral regulation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field is mandatory.

• Possession of a valid and unrestricted LMFT license is required.
\n
• Flexibility to work weekends and availability for at least 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM) is preferred.

• Completion of a thorough criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is a requirement of employment.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for client visits are essential.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in positive behavior support strategies is valued.
\n
• Experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral and developmental concerns, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), is highly desirable.

• Bilingual capabilities in Spanish or Portuguese are considered an asset, enabling you to connect more deeply with our diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position falls between USD 90,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
