Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily engage patients facing a spectrum of mental health issues exacerbated by chronic medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. This role demands a keen understanding of how such co-occurring conditions affect mental health, requiring a compassionate and multifaceted approach to patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Demonstrable experience addressing the mental health needs of individuals with complex co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining professionalism and empathy with all patient interactions.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines ensuring patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

Desirable candidates may possess additional certifications in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or cognitive behavioral therapy. Previous experience in a psychiatric outpatient or integrated care setting will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n
