Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients’ presenting issues, mental health history, and treatment goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that acknowledge each client's situation and preferences, adapting these as therapy progresses.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities during therapy sessions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, talk therapy, and skills training.

• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Educate clients about the therapeutic process and the emotional and financial commitments involved in their journey towards mental wellness.

• Encourage self-exploration and the development of healthy coping mechanisms while modeling adaptive behaviors in therapy.

• Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans and goals, ensuring adherence and addressing any concerns.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse array of clients managing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our outpatient environment is geared toward facilitating recovery through individualized treatment pathways, focusing on empowering clients and enhancing their capacity for self-management.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling or a related field with a focus on mental health.

• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Proven clinical experience in counseling environments, preferably with outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 and includes a competitive sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
