Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your training and expertise to conduct psychosocial assessments, enabling you to formulate independent diagnoses and craft personalized treatment plans for clients navigating detox.

• Engage collaboratively with clients to create tailored patient-centered treatment strategies that address their unique needs and recovery goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to motivational interviewing and solution-focused techniques, to foster positive behavioral change.

• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members, including psychologists, primary care professionals, and other health service providers, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

• Monitor and assess treatment progress through systematic tracking and regular follow-ups, offering support either in person or during virtual sessions.

• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications as prescribed, focusing on treatment compliance, monitoring side effects, and evaluating effectiveness in collaboration with prescribing providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing substance use disorders and associated mental health challenges within the detox setting. You will provide crucial support to clients in early recovery, offering guidance as they confront and navigate their personal experiences with addiction. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license to practice independently in Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
