Accounting ManagerSalary: $140,000-$160,000Location: Hybrid near Lakewood, OhioBenefits: 4 weeks of PTO, Competitive health benefits, 401 (k) MatchWhy This Opportunity Stands OutStep into a key leadership role with a growing, established organizationLead and develop an accounting team while having the opportunity to improve processes and create structureHigh-visibility position partnering closely with finance leadership and other areas of the organizationOpportunity to establish and strengthen SOPs, internal controls, reporting processes, and overall accounting operationsJoin an organization experiencing continued growth with an emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvementWork with a company offering hybrid flexibility – 2 days at home and 3 days in the officeThe company offers an on-site barista, and biweekly catered mealsKey ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingOversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and balance sheet accountsReview financial statements, investigate variances, and provide meaningful financial analysis to leadershipManage, mentor, and develop accounting team members while overseeing workload, priorities, and performanceDevelop, document, and implement accounting SOPs, policies, and internal controlsIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, reduce manual work, and strengthen financial controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and other financial planning activitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required10+ years of progressive accounting experience3+ years of direct people management and team development experienceStrong general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, and audit experienceDemonstrated experience developing or improving SOPs, internal controls, and accounting processesExperience leading process improvement, automation, or finance transformation initiativesExperience working within a growing, complex, or multi-location organization preferredCPA or other relevant professional certification is a plus
