The professional will support the capital raising efforts in North America with institutional investors on behalf of the real estate platform. The professional will work closely with senior leaders of Blackstone real estate and the broader fundraising team to raise new capital, manage LP relationships, and support strategic initiatives. This professional will be expected to serve as the subject matter expert across various investments and delivering substantive information and updates to prospective and existing investors, collaborating with the broader Blackstone Real Estate team. Additionally, this hire will be expected to:

• Identify and procure new LP relationships.
• Expand existing LP relationships by articulating Blackstone’s products, fund strategies, and deals in depth.
• Demonstrate fluency with, and confidence discussing, Blackstone Real Estate products with internal and external market participants.
• Represent the firm as a visible spokesperson relating to all external communications and client coverage, building trust and credibility with stakeholders across all levels within Blackstone (product, investment team, etc).
• Act as a PM surrogate to LPs and consultants by driving a solutions-oriented process and positioning the information in a thoughtful and appropriate manner, based on investor needs and interests.

Qualifications:

This professional will have experience supporting the capital raising process and working well with internal investment and client service teams including legal, finance, accounting, and operations in order to successfully close on a commitment and onboard an investor. This hire should be highly motivated and possess sound judgment and a demonstrated track record of excellence in prior endeavors. They should also possess strong analytical and time management skills and have strong attention to detail.

• 6+ years of experience in a capital raising role.
• Commercial mindset and results-orientated; highly motivated, enthusiastic, driven, and closes.
• Effective multi-tasker; successfully raises capital for multiple Real Estate products at any given time.
• Creative & solutions-oriented; identifies, explores and devises solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence; develops trust and fosters strong internal relationships within Blackstone and externally, with investors and the broader market.
• Entrepreneurial, resourceful, self-starter, while also team-oriented and collaborative.
• Adaptable and creative thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• High level of intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously add to knowledge base.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highest level of professional integrity.

Expected annual base salary range:

$225,000 - $250,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
