Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU required; 4 years preferred License: Valid RN License in California Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred; patient ratio experience; charting system experience required Description: The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide high-level care to critically ill patients. Responsible for monitoring and assessing patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Manage complex medical devices and technology. Assist with diagnostic procedures and interventions. Educate patients and families on care plans and health management. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions. Participate in professional development and education. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Engage in effective communication with healthcare team members. Provide care across various patient demographics, including adults and geriatrics. Demonstrate skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, and central line care. Required to float as needed within the unit. Weekend rotation required. Must comply with all onboarding and documentation procedures.
