Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for adult clients, focusing on emotional and behavioral issues.

• Perform comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments to inform treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Provide clients with practical coping strategies, social skills training, and anger management techniques to enhance their daily functioning.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in case consultations to ensure integrated care for clients and their families.

• Ensure timely documentation of client progress, including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork.

• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a collaborative approach to mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with a diverse population of adults who present with various mental health challenges. This may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other emotional disturbances. Our clients come from different backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to provide culturally sensitive support that meets their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field, with valid licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC.

• Clinical mental health training and post-internship field experience working with adults in a therapeutic context.

• Training in crisis intervention or willingness to complete this training shortly after employment.
\n
• Ability to create treatment plans, set therapy goals, and write progress notes in accordance with best practices.

• Proficiency in using the DSM-V for assessments and diagnoses, ensuring accurate and effective treatment interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt therapy, and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Demonstrated experience providing positive behavior support to clients and implementing evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and a high degree of comfort in utilizing technology for virtual sessions.
