In this role, you will support a wide range of Accounts Payable and accounting functions while partnering with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure timely and accurate financial operations.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for building strong business relationships, we'd love to hear from you.## ## Responsibilities:* Analyze supplier data using multiple software applications to identify and resolve statement and unvouchered receipt issues.* Partner with suppliers, Supply Chain Management, and Distribution Centers to monitor, document, resolve, and escalate account discrepancies.* Lead conference calls and collaborate with supplier partners to resolve issues and drive continuous process improvements.* Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely and fiscally responsible manner to support Accounts Payable performance goals.* Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to reconcile accounts and communicate potential financial exposure to leadership.* Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.* Prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.## ## Requirements:* Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.* Two or more years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience, including issue resolution, preferred.* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.## ## Why Owens & Minor?At Owens & Minor, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team that supports critical healthcare operations.
