Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that accommodates the diverse needs of our team and client population. However, you will be primarily engaged with students in a school-based environment. Expect to collaborate with educators, therapists, and administrative staff to create a holistic support system for our students. Your typical hours will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and some on-call availability required.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each student.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that focus on mental health and emotional well-being, ensuring students can successfully integrate into the school community.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal growth and emotional regulation.
\n
• Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, including educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Conducting crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and stabilization.
\n
• Offering psychoeducation to students and their families, enhancing knowledge of mental health conditions and available resources.
\n
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and contribute to team growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse population of students with special needs, including those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma-related issues. You will have the opportunity to implement trauma-informed care and play a significant role in normalizing mental health discussions, reducing stigma and barriers to access within the school environment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with advanced degrees (master's or doctoral) highly preferred.
\n
• At least two years of experience in a clinical or school-based setting, demonstrating proficiency in mental health assessments and treatment planning.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the principles of trauma-informed care.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• A commitment to professional ethics and the ability to maintain sound judgment in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferably, candidates will have:

• Experience in delivering group therapy and using various therapeutic approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention experience, providing calm and effective support during emergencies.

• A working knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with the necessary technological tools for remote service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
