Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of individuals, particularly students, as well as families and groups, identifying their unique mental health needs.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), aligning interventions with the individual service plans of clients.

• Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate integrated care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to each student's well-being.

• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes, meeting department standards for ethical record-keeping.

• Participate in regular team meetings, including patient rounds, to discuss treatment strategies and share insights about ongoing cases.

• Provide case management services, linking clients to external resources as needed and ensuring access to comprehensive community support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Empower Care, you will focus on a diverse clientele primarily made up of school-aged children and adolescents. This role involves working closely with students facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. By delivering tailored therapeutic interventions, you will empower young individuals and their families to navigate these issues effectively, fostering resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly in education or outpatient environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 60,000 to 104,000 per year, based on individual experience and credentials.
