Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial psychosocial assessments for students and their families to identify presenting issues and triage care based on individual needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring interventions align with best practices and student goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, assessments, and treatment interventions to facilitate effective communication amongst the treatment team.
\n
• Engage in regular meetings with interdisciplinary teams to discuss cases, share insights, and collaboratively refine care plans for optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide case management and consultation services, coordinating with educational staff, community resources, and mental health services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Deliver ongoing support through individual sessions, while also facilitating group therapy sessions when appropriate, fostering a supportive peer environment.

• Assist in community outreach and educational programs to raise awareness about mental health resources and services available in the school context.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and young adults within the school system, addressing a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment challenges. This role requires a deep commitment to fostering resilience and personal growth among students, ensuring they have access to the support needed to thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license is required, with qualifications as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is essential for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly within an outpatient or school-based setting, is highly preferred.

• Experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly CBT, will set candidates apart.

• A demonstrated history of effective collaboration with educators and other health professionals in a multidisciplinary approach is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
