Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of students, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet those needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to students, their families, and groups, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and play therapy.

• Work collaboratively with school staff, including administrators, teachers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to student care and well-being.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to students in distress, employing quick thinking and expert judgment in high-pressure situations.

• Engage in community outreach programs to raise awareness about mental health issues, foster resilience among students, and work towards reducing stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist with Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will primarily assist children and adolescents, addressing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with students and their families.

• A demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from a range of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, exhibiting a high level of cultural competence.

• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and client records efficiently while adhering to state regulations and ethical standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable but not required.
