Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of students and develop personalized treatment plans addressing their unique circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health therapist at Serenity Medical Center, you will work primarily with students aged 5 to 18. This diverse population may present a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related concerns. You will have the opportunity to implement therapeutic interventions that are both age-appropriate and culturally relevant, enhancing your therapeutic effectiveness within the school community.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling with a focus on children and adolescents.

• A solid understanding of various evidence-based practices for common mental health disorders among youth.
\n
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling abilities, with a focus on building rapport and trust with young clients.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with individuals across the mental health and educational spectrum.
