Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations, utilizing standardized tools to gain insight into the individual needs of students.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique circumstances of each student, adhering to evidence-based practices in therapy.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to effectively address students' mental health concerns.

• Engage in regular consultation with case managers, school staff, and external specialists to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach for each student.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to students experiencing acute emotional distress or emergencies, employing your expertise to de-escalate situations when necessary.

• Participate in community outreach programs that aim to create awareness about mental health issues within schools and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve students facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our diverse client population reflects a variety of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, requiring cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively meet their needs.

Qualifications\n

• A current and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport and fostering trust with students from various backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload efficiently and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working within a school setting or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred to streamline service delivery and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
