Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the unique mental health needs of students, crafting personalized treatment plans aligned with their individual goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy to effectively address a spectrum of emotional and behavioral issues.

• Engage in crisis intervention, providing immediate support and strategies for students experiencing acute distress during school hours or at home.

• Collaborate with educators and school personnel to ensure a cohesive approach to student well-being, contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed.

• Participate in community outreach programs and workshops aimed at elevating mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental health challenges among students and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with students in school environments who are navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to cater to young individuals coming from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, enhancing your cultural competence and making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• An active and independent mental health license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from varied backgrounds.

• A strong understanding of cultural sensitivity to ensure effective interaction with individuals from a multitude of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.

Compensation and Benefits\n
