Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, to address a range of mental health challenges.

• Work closely with school staff, parents, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care that is holistic and effective, ensuring the well-being of each student.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies, offering immediate support for students facing acute mental health crises or emergencies, demonstrating a high level of expertise and empathy.

• Participate in community outreach programs and lead educational workshops to foster greater awareness of mental health issues and reduce stigma tied to mental health struggles.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on serving school-aged children and adolescents who may be dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A valid and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or hold a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A completed master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field , providing the foundational knowledge necessary for effective therapy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport and build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A deep commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity, working effectively with individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills to manage caseloads effectively and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a school setting or direct work with children and adolescents is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client notes and treatment documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
