Our school-based mental health services operate Monday through Saturday, providing clinicians with the ability to create a consistent and manageable schedule. You will have access to in-house credentialing, insurance management, and administrative support, allowing you to focus on the vital work of patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic practices including:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments of students and their families in a compassionate manner, ensuring that each individual's unique needs are identified and addressed.

• Creating and implementing customized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, which may include school staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals.

• Providing clinical interventions grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support students in reaching their mental health goals.

• Maintaining accurate documentation and communication regarding each client’s progress and treatment strategies during regular case meetings and patient rounds.

• Identifying and addressing any educational or social challenges impacting the psychological health of students while advocating for their rights and well-being.

• Ensuring ethical and timely completion of all clinical documentation, adhering to departmental expectations and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on diverse student populations, including children, adolescents, and their families. You will work closely with clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly within educational or outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
