Our office is accessible Monday through Saturday, ensuring that you can find the best times to meet the needs of clients and provide consistent mental health support. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students, families, and groups to identify their mental health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations and assessments.

• Facilitate therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, interventions, and treatment plans as per organizational standards.

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, collaborating effectively through documentation, meetings, and patient rounds to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Engage in ethical case management, providing referrals and consultations to community resources and professionals to enhance client care.

• Stay abreast of current best practices in mental health, using evidence-based practices to inform your approach to therapy and patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily serve students in a school environment, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. You will play a critical role in promoting mental health awareness and providing strategies that empower students and their families to engage positively with their emotional wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably with children and adolescents.
