Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, identifying needs and goals for therapy.

• Record and manage detailed documentation of patient interactions, ensuring accurate communication with the care team during meetings and consultations.

• Demonstrate proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans that address the physical, psychological, and social needs of all age groups.

• Provide targeted case management that involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community services to ensure well-rounded support for your clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to facilitate progress towards specified treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor with Compassionate Mental Care Center, you will primarily serve students and their families, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and family dynamics. Your approach will be client-centered, recognizing the unique circumstances of each child and family and working diligently to foster a supportive and empowering environment.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience working in schools or with children and adolescents will be given preference. Familiarity with remote therapy applications or platforms is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
