Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and devise tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective interventions for individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that address common mental health challenges, fostering community among participants.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, helping clients to navigate acute situations safely.

• Provide education to clients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources in the community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in adherence to both legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education events to stay informed about best practices and innovations in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
