Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home using our telehealth infrastructure. You will benefit from a structured work schedule, working Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the ability to adjust hours as needed to meet the demands of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma backgrounds, which guide the development of personalized treatment strategies.

• Designing and implementing effective treatment plans centered on restoring patients’ well-being and resilience.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on intensive trauma processing and the development of practical coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to promote integrated treatment plans.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention services to assist patients during critical trauma-related situations.
\n
• Providing education and resources to patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available support systems.

• Maintaining detailed and compliant documentation of therapeutic interventions and client progress in adherence with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings to remain current with advancements in trauma therapy best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with clients who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients may range from adolescents to adults, providing you with diverse cases that will enrich your professional experience and therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

To apply, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on trauma-related therapy preferred.
