RN - Acute Care Surgery Unit

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required. Candidates from non-accredited programs must have at least five years of acute care nursing experience or hold an advanced degree from an accredited institution. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred or must be obtained within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is also accepted.

Experience and Requirements: Current active Registered Nurse licensure is mandatory. Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications are required and must be maintained. The role involves working a part-time schedule during the first shift, totaling 24 hours weekly. Commitment to professional growth, teamwork, and adherence to ethical nursing practices is essential.
