Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to gather background information and create tailored treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address common issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our Center serves a diverse population in Cortlandt Manor and surrounding areas, offering support to individuals from varying backgrounds and life experiences. Clients may present with a range of mental health concerns, including, but not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma histories, and interpersonal relationship issues. Your ability to engage with clients empathetically and build rapport quickly will be essential in fostering therapeutic relationships that lead to positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license or certification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of experience working with clients navigating emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and case management software is preferred but not essential.
