Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ needs through interviews, case histories, and observational techniques, facilitating the identification of challenges and formulating appropriate therapeutic strategies.
• Develop, implement, and amend assessment protocols as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices and health plan regulations while enhancing overall therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide ongoing counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy tailored to client needs, preparing detailed treatment and discharge plans to guide student progress.
• Manage a caseload that includes individual therapy and collateral therapy sessions, demonstrating flexibility in addressing diverse client challenges.
• Maintain meticulous client case files, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with all regulatory documentation, including required assessments, care plans, and progress notes to uphold clinical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents. Successful applicants will work closely with students facing a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral concerns. By collaborating with teachers and parents, you will advocate for the best interests of each student, crafting individually tailored interventions that foster emotional resilience, academic success, and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of one year specifically in a mental health environment.
• A valid and active Clinical Independent Social Worker License (LICSW), demonstrating your capability and profession adherence.
• Extensive clinical experience in a social service or healthcare setting, with demonstrated skills in case management and therapeutic practices.
