Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify and prioritize individual student needs, ensuring that all care plans align with their specific circumstances and goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, collaborating with a team of mental health professionals and educational staff to adapt approaches as necessary based on student progress.
• Provide regular feedback and educate caregivers about responsive parenting skills, tailoring discussions to reflect individual family values and concerns.
• Document all communications, therapies, and treatment outcomes meticulously, maintaining clear and thorough records as per legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources, ensuring that families receive the additional support they need related to healthcare, housing, and educational services.
• Stay informed about cultural competency and factors impacting social-emotional health across various age groups, from early childhood through to adolescence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing diverse challenges, including those related to emotional and behavioral issues, learning disabilities, and family dynamics. You will play a critical role in supporting them through therapeutic interventions and connecting them with necessary resources to promote personal and academic success.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Current independent licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in social services, particularly in psychiatric settings, is essential.
• Current training in the safe management of disruptive and assaultive behavior is required.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a remote work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to children and families within school environments.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in child psychology and behavioral health.

Compensation and Benefits
