Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will actively engage in the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand each student's mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adjusted to suit the unique circumstances and preferences of each client.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and all relevant regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including school psychologists and educational specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for students.
• Participate in weekly case consultations and review meetings, contributing to strategic discussions aimed at enhancing overall quality of care.
• Educate and support students and their families, empowering them with valuable insights regarding mental health issues, coping strategies, and local resources.
• Stay informed of the latest research and trends in mental health treatment, integrating new findings into your practice to improve client outcomes continuously.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses specifically on working with students and their families within a school setting. You will address a multitude of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges, ensuring that each student's unique needs are met with understanding and professionalism.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your foundation in social work principles.
• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois, affirming your qualifications to practice as a clinical social worker.
• At least three years of professional experience in a clinical setting, specifically with psychotherapy services for diverse populations.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability in utilizing solution-focused therapeutic interventions, highlighting your expertise in facilitating change.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for seamless rapport with students and families alike.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, which enable you to navigate complex case scenarios effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a school or educational setting is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits
