Work Environment

This role is remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while still impacting the lives of students in Henrietta, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of your clients, adapting treatment plans based on individual goals and challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to implement therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations, ensuring the highest standard of professionalism.
• Collaborate with a team of educational professionals, including teachers and school psychologists, to develop a comprehensive support system for students.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously enhance service delivery and implement best practices.
• Offer educational resources and support to students and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
• Stay current with the latest mental health research and methodologies, integrating new insights into your practice to provide the best care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will target school-aged children and adolescents (ages 5-18) experiencing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges. By fostering robust therapeutic relationships, you will guide students on their path to recovery and emotional stability, positively influencing their academic and social lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, highlighting your academic foundation and training in the field of social work.
• A valid LCSW license in New York State, confirming your professional qualifications and commitment to ethical practice.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience, demonstrating your capacity to apply clinical skills effectively in a therapeutic environment.
• Proficient understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy and the ability to engage clients using tailored therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
