Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while engaging in a school-based context. Our virtual outpatient mental health clinic leverages the latest technology to provide state-of-the-art care. You will collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and other mental health professionals to create a holistic support system for our students. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique mental health concerns.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches to address clients' needs effectively.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards to ensure the confidentiality and safety of patient information.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to provide coordinated and effective care.
• Participating in regular case consultations, peer review meetings, and supervision to enhance the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey.
• Staying informed about current developments in mental health research and integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of students, each facing their unique challenges and mental health needs. Your interventions will support not only the individual but also their families, fostering an inclusive and holistic approach to mental wellness.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities that allow for effective treatment and support.
• Excellent teamwork skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience working in educational settings or with children and adolescents will be strongly favored. Familiarity with school systems and the ability to engage with teachers, parents, and school staff will enhance your impact in this role.
