Position Overview

Iron Will Mental Health Clinic is actively seeking a skilled and devoted Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our compassionate team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and psychosocial assessments.
• Communicate regularly with physicians and school officials to discuss student progress, emerging needs, and any potential issues, ensuring a coordinated approach to care.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, adhering to department policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention, addressing emotional and behavioral issues that impede students' academic and personal success.
• Engage with families and support systems to facilitate treatment plans and discharge strategies, fostering a collaborative environment for student success.
• Participate in program planning and evaluation, contributing insights and data to enhance clinic services and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on high-risk youth in a school setting, providing mental health support to students dealing with various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work closely with diverse populations, and your contribution will significantly impact their academic and personal lives. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possess a valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting is mandatory, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic methods.
• Proficiency in using technology, including electronic health records, Microsoft Office Suite, and communication platforms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for accurate documentation and communication with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While not required, prior experience working within a school environment or with youth populations is highly valued. Familiarity with school systems, crisis intervention techniques, and community resources will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Compensation and Benefits
