Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments remotely to evaluate the strengths, needs, and challenges faced by students, ensuring a holistic understanding of their situations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, school psychologists, and medical professionals, to coordinate integrated care aimed at supporting students' mental health and educational needs.

• Advocate for students' rights, ensuring they have access to necessary community resources and support services.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records, ensuring adherence to best practices in confidentiality and record-keeping.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to the collective knowledge and clinical skills of the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral challenges. Your work will not only aid in addressing immediate mental health concerns but will also focus on equipping students with coping mechanisms and resilience strategies that foster long-term success.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in delivering clinical social work services.

• Proven proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with diverse populations, including students, families, and professionals.

• A demonstrated commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and professional ethical standards in practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within school systems or educational settings is highly desirable, providing familiarity with the unique challenges and dynamics present in these environments.

• Certification in evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as DBT, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), or other relevant methodologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
