Work Environment

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Best Discoveries Wellness Clinic, you will work remotely, allowing for flexible scheduling that supports a positive work-life balance. This position primarily involves collaborating with educational institutions, providing essential mental health support to students. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans based on thorough psychosocial assessments, identifying appropriate social work interventions tailored to the school setting.
• Conduct detailed assessments and design interventions for students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychosocial challenges, aiming for timely and effective resolutions.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques to counsel students in crisis, providing immediate support and strategies for managing emotional distress and behavioral issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with families and support systems to ensure a coordinated approach to treatment and facilitate successful discharge planning, contributing to sustained student wellness.
• Actively participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and enhance collaborative care for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on supporting a diverse range of student populations, from elementary to high school levels, addressing a multitude of psychosocial issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma. As a social worker in a school setting, your interventions will be tailored to help students develop coping strategies, improve their emotional resilience, and enhance their overall academic and social functioning.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) licensure in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of three years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience in clinical social work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with students, families, and colleagues effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms, with robust computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and email systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in school settings or with adolescent populations is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and methods to support students through various mental health crises.
• Proven ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
