Work Environment

This position is designed as a remote role, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility in your work hours. Our team offers various shift options, including the possibility of 4x10 or 5x8 schedules within the hours of 8 am – 7 pm, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy or counseling sessions tailored for diverse clients, focusing on strategies to address their unique mental health challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments by interviewing clients to gather comprehensive social, personal, environmental, and health information.
• Evaluate client needs and create treatment plans that cater to their specific emotional and psychosocial requirements.
• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral interventions, including crisis resolution and appropriate referrals to community resources.
• Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships built on mutual respect, acceptance, and trust, fostering an environment conducive to healing.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans as needed to ensure optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with established protocols and regulations.
• Keep a manageable caseload while ensuring that all case documentation is current and reflects the services provided.
• Provide clinical counseling in various settings and collaborate with educational staff to address the social and emotional needs of students.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of our clientele and organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on providing high-quality mental health services to students and school communities. As an LCSW, you will engage with clients facing issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, family problems, substance abuse, and trauma. Your expertise will empower individuals to navigate their challenges effectively, improving their overall quality of life and academic performance.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is essential.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in clinical settings, specifically in behavioral mental health, is expected.

Preferred Experience

• Prior counseling experience dealing with a range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, substance use disorders, family dynamics, and bereavement.
• Experience in an educational or school-based setting is advantageous but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
