Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of your clients.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring treatment approaches align with current best practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records to comply with HIPAA regulations, contributing to effective case management and continuity of care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators to enhance the quality of care for students.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health, continuously integrating new knowledge into your practice to ensure the best outcomes for your clients.

The population you will serve includes a diverse range of students facing various mental health challenges. Your role will involve supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other emotional difficulties, with a focus on promoting resilience and positive coping strategies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice Social Work in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, particularly in school or youth settings.
• Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapy interventions and a robust understanding of relevant theories and practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective client and team interactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Preferred Experience

Experience working within school systems, familiarity with educational frameworks, and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by students will be highly regarded. Additional training or certifications in trauma-informed care and youth counseling will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
