Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to work from home while serving clients in the school system. You will engage with children, adolescents, and their families through telehealth services, integrating technology to ensure accessibility and convenience. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized psychotherapy to clients, including individuals, couples, and families, primarily through telehealth with some options for in-person sessions.
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning and ensure effective strategies tailored to each client’s unique experiences and challenges.
• Collaborate with clients in developing comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize their goals, strengths, and cultural backgrounds.
• Maintain detailed, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation through our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in client records.
• Engage with external providers, educational staff, and community resources to provide holistic support, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and legal standards of practice as prescribed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), promoting a safe therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of students, including those facing challenges related to trauma, family issues, mental health disorders, and life transitions. Our focus is on providing culturally responsive care that addresses the unique needs of each client, promoting resilience and personal growth. Skilled in understanding the nuances of the school environment, you will be instrumental in advocating for your clients and supporting their academic and emotional development.

Qualifications

• An active LCSW license in the state of California, in good standing.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience providing psychotherapy.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic approaches.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote service delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual capabilities in languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Mandarin are highly desirable.
• Specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, motivational interviewing, or somatic therapies.
• Experience working with underserved communities and in school-based mental health settings.
• Comfortable using various EHR systems, such as SimplePractice or TherapyNotes, for efficient client documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $90,000.00 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
