Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential functions aimed at improving the mental health outcomes of your clients. You will:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students and develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies.
• Deliver psychotherapy services, including therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of educators, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and support for students in need.
• Engage in regular supervision and clinical consultations, helping to refine treatment practices and improve service delivery.
• Provide education and support to students and their families about mental health topics, coping strategies, and community resources available for assistance.
• Stay current with developments in mental health research and incorporate new knowledge into your practice for enhanced patient outcomes.
• Manage a full caseload effectively, ensuring that treatment goals are met and high-quality care is continually provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with children and adolescents in a school environment. You will address a broad range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and behavioral disorders, enhancing their emotional resilience and academic performance. By utilizing solution-focused approaches, you will empower young people to develop the skills necessary for a healthy transition into adulthood.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting with a focus on delivering psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused interventions and evidenced-based techniques tailored to youth mental health.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
