Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, providing you with the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and compassionate psychosocial assessments to understand clients' concerns and identify their strengths and resources.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, to address individual, family, and group needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that include specific goals and strategic interventions designed to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate closely with school personnel, including psychologists, counselors, and educators, to provide coordinated and holistic care for students.
• Facilitate crisis interventions, perform risk assessments, and develop safety plans as necessary to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with all ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes aimed at equipping students with essential coping skills and fostering peer support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote School-Based Mental Health Specialist, you will work primarily with children and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges. Your focus will include helping students navigate academic pressures, social anxieties, and emotional disturbances, while also engaging with their families to create a supportive home environment. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits
