Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions through solution-focused approaches, utilizing cutting-edge modalities tailored to each student's needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring that all records comply with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with the educational staff to provide integrated support, including participating in student case reviews and strategy meetings.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to students and their families, empowering them to understand mental health issues and treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of students, ranging from elementary to high school age, who may face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. This role is crucial in the school setting, where you can make a direct impact on students' emotional, social, and academic development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• Strong understanding and experience with solution-focused psychotherapy interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within a school environment or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
