Berks Community Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to tailored treatment plans, actively engaging students through trauma-informed methodologies and culturally sensitive practices.
• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to inform treatment decisions, including triage and crisis intervention interventions as situations arise.
• Provide case management services to clients, ensuring appropriate referrals to external services when necessary, thereby enhancing the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, psychologists, and other health professionals in case consultations and meetings, promoting an integrated approach to student care.
• Design and implement outreach and wellness initiatives in school settings, ensuring accessibility of mental health resources to students and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will primarily support students from diverse backgrounds within the educational system, addressing a range of behavioral and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and social challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania LCSW license is mandatory to practice.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting, with a strong focus on mental health treatment for children and adolescents.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of trauma-informed care principles and a commitment to social justice.
• Proficient in the use of office management systems, telehealth platforms, and various software applications to maintain accurate records and facilitate efficient workflow.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within school environments or with educational institutions is desirable, as it enhances your ability to engage effectively with students and staff.
