Work Environment

This remote position allows you to engage with clients and families from the comfort of your own home while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The school-based setting focuses on developing and implementing individualized plans that cater to the needs of each child, supported by flexible work schedules to maintain an ideal work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the physical, social, and emotional needs of infants and toddlers.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.
• Monitor and assess the progress of children within the program, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as required.
• Provide individualized support to families, offering resources and skills aimed at enhancing child development and family dynamics.
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations governing early intervention services, ensuring compliance and quality in service delivery.
• Foster and maintain strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and team members, thereby creating a nurturing educational environment.
• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with Natural Learning Environment Principles.
• Champion the coaching model and integrate natural environment teaching approaches as core elements of service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with infants and toddlers who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities, along with their families. By employing a person-centered and family-focused approach, your efforts will contribute significantly to the overall development of these young children, helping them to thrive in educational settings and beyond.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure from the Department of Public Health in California.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license for occasional travel related to client assessments and meetings.
• Minimum of one year of experience in early intervention services, specifically with children in similar demographics.
• A demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, supporting child and family engagement in therapeutic settings.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential for the success of this role.
• Ability to collaboratively work within a team, valuing diverse perspectives and contributions.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve a diverse client base.
• Experience working within educational or school-based settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of USD 75,000 to 80,000 yearly. In addition to a sign-on bonus, we offer:
