Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments for students, gathering crucial information about their mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy, to deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and family members to set achievable goals and monitor progress.
• Provide crisis intervention for students facing immediate mental health issues, performing risk assessments and safety planning as necessary.
• Document all interactions and interventions accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care and maintain thorough records.
• Facilitate psychoeducation workshops and support groups that empower students and their families with coping strategies and mental health literacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role emphasizes working with a diverse group of students, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your work will contribute directly to promoting well-being, academic success, and positive life experiences for children and teens.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health settings, particularly with youth populations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a strong grasp of current social work practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educators.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a school-based setting or working with children and adolescents is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with educational environments and the challenges faced by students in diverse educational settings.
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems that can enhance students' mental health and well-being.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus. Additionally, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
