Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health issues, strengths, and available resources.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy utilizing established evidence-based clinical practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that set clear therapeutic goals and define specific interventions.
• Participate in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency care when necessary, which may include risk assessments and safety planning to protect clients during critical moments.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and support groups aimed at building community and resilience among participants.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that adheres to ethical and legal regulations, ensuring the integrity of client records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele facing a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and other emotional or psychological conditions. By employing evidence-based therapeutic methods, you will empower clients to achieve personal growth and manage their conditions effectively, fostering resilience and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, which has equipped you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for this role.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health or outpatient settings.
• Proficient knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills to effectively interact with and support clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse population, particularly within underrepresented communities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms for efficient client management.
