Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular supportive sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on their unique mental health needs.
• Monitor and document patient’s progress diligently, ensuring that all notes reflect the patient's journey toward their therapeutic goals.
• Assist with orienting patients and their families regarding treatment options and support processes.
• Facilitate and engage in therapeutic activities, addressing both mental and physical well-being of patients.
• Advocate for necessary services on behalf of patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive care.
• Promptly report any significant changes in patient behavior that may affect treatment, collaborating closely with other professionals as needed.
• Optimize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while delivering quality patient care sustainably.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work with a diverse client base, including adults, children, and families from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Our focus on inclusivity means that you will be called upon to adapt therapeutic methods to engage effectively with clients and tailor treatment plans to meet the needs of individual family systems, addressing issues such as trauma, relationship challenges, and mental health disorders.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field is required.
• An active license as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California is necessary to practice.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Proficiency in providing marriage and family therapy to a variety of populations, adapting interventions to suit individual and collective needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in either a remote or multidisciplinary team environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.
• Experience with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Our offerings include:
