Key Responsibilities

• Act as a client advocate, assisting individuals in navigating community resources, social services, and support networks that enhance their mental health.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, ensuring client safety during critical situations.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, complying with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic client care.
• Empower clients by educating them about coping strategies, effective communication techniques, and self-care practices.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to strengthen referral networks and bolster community partnerships for enhanced service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other emotional difficulties. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related discipline.
• A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in the mental health field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with diverse client populations.
• A firm commitment to ethical standards and preserving confidentiality in therapeutic practices.
• Capability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
