Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and situations.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions, as well as facilitating group and family counseling, focusing on developing coping strategies and improving interpersonal relationships.
• Regularly monitor client progress against their treatment goals, adjusting sessions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive client care.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute psychological distress, providing immediate support and guiding them through challenging situations.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and emerging trends in the mental health field to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders, substance abuse challenges, and those confronting significant life transitions such as relationship conflicts, grief, and chronic stress. Understanding the unique cultural and socio-economic factors affecting our clients is crucial to providing effective and empathetic care.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid and active state license to practice clinical social work (LCSW).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team setting.
• Strong grasp of ethical considerations in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting or with low-income populations.

Compensation and Benefits
