Work Environment

This position is designed to be remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while effectively supporting students across various school districts. You will work closely with school staff and parents to ensure students receive holistic care tailored to their unique circumstances. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans that adhere to best practices and incorporate solution-focused strategies.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address a diverse range of mental health issues.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, psychologists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure integrated and effective care for students.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical competencies.
• Provide education and resources to students and their families about mental health topics, available treatment options, and community resources that support overall well-being.
• Stay current with the latest research in mental health trends and treatments to continuously enhance the therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of students, ranging from elementary to high school age, each facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. By employing empathy and professionalism, you will help these individuals navigate their difficulties, improve their coping strategies, and achieve their educational and personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience providing psychotherapy within a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and techniques specific to school-age clients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop effective treatment plans.
• An ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a school setting, preferably with a focus on youth mental health services.
• Knowledge of educational systems and the obstacles faced by students in a school environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and tools used in mental health documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
